Description of project
The housing estate consists of a 3-storey house (20,31m/17,65m) with nine flats, with one flat in the ground level and four apartments each on the first and second floor. The housing estate was not built with basement. Nine roofed parking spaces were designed on the ground floor. The complete house automation and a large bike parking area are situated on the ground floor too.
A surface foundation on the base plate with additional strip foundation on the edge zone of the building was carried out. The housing estate was built as solid construction. Walls, ceilings and stairways were made of reinforced concrete. The planning had to put special attention on the thermal and acoustical requirements. Therefore, the balconies were equipped with enclosed Isokorb-insulation and the stairs are sound-insulated. The facade consists of a larch cladding with rear ventilation.
It was of great importance to elaborate individual solutions and concepts in regard of statically aspects due to the alpine surroundings.
