Tunnelling is such a difficult task, because the knowledge of many technical fields is required and converge. It is an integrative work, where knowledge of structural analysis, geology, geomechanics, construction technology and mechanical engineering are joint. We mainly engage in the locally up-to-date topic of appraisal, maintenance, reconstruction and renewal of old tunnels under full or restricted operation of traffic.
