Description of project
The Spar-vault was built in 1935 as part of the Flexen-gallery on the L198 between Kloesterle and Lech am Arlberg. The County Government of Vorarlberg started refurbishment on the age-related damages at the vault/culvert in 2022.
The works included the restauration of the concrete damages, concrete spalling, reinforcement corrosion of the bridge vault, damages on the stone facing and on the front surface of the Spar-vault as well as rock extractions beneath the vault’s abutment. Furthermore, the culvert was stabilized.
Our office was commissioned with the project engineering of all building works.

- Drafting of location plan and traffic routing plan
- Supervision during execution period regarding structural details
