Description of project

In the year 2023 we inspected the following buildings for the county government of Vorarlberg, department of road construction:

  • Inspection of retaining structures on the L200, first survey, part 13 und 14/L90, first survey, part 3
  • Inspection of bridges on the L1 – L205, recurrent survey, part 8/L198 – L205, recurrent survey, part 4
  • Inspection of constructions on L190, recurrent survey, part 1
  • Inspection of tunnel and avalanche protectors 2023
  • Inspection of retaining walls 2023 “Felsenau”, part 4

23 bridges with an overall surface of 5,579 m2 and a total length of 606 m, of which:
- 1 prestressed concrete bridge with a surface of 673 m2
- 22 loosely reinforced ferroconcrete bridges with a surface of 4,906 m2

23 retaining structures with an overall surface of 16,429 m2 and a total length of 752 m

76 retaining walls with an overall length of 2,638 m

7 road buildings with a length of 242 m

18 tunnels and avalanche protectors with a total length of 3,411 m

Description of tasks

  • Site inspection and survey of the bridges and culverts with photographically documentation
  • Elaboration of test reports including damage category
  • Drafting of general plans and damage plans
  • Measuring of bearing and expansion joints displacements
