Description of project
In the year 2020 our office was awarded a contract by the ASFINAG (Austrian Federal Motorway Building plc), which included the planning for the tender offer and the issue of all documents needed for bidding regarding the A10 Tauern motorway/A01 West motorway - refurbishment overbridge Moosstrasse and refurbishment flyover I, II, II. Also included in the contract were the detailed planning and the execution planning for the following objects:
- Overbridge Moosstraße:
- 4-field ferroconcrete bridge, overall length approx. 77.50 m,
- length between expansion joints approx. 50 m, maximum span approx. 14 m,
- width 10 m
- Flyover I:
- 2-field steel composite bridge, overall length approx. 112 m,
- length between expansion joints approx. 74 m, maximum span approx. 38 m,
- width approx. 13.5 m
- Flyover II:
- 2-field steel composite bridge, overall length approx 117 m,
- length between expansion joints approx. 80 m, maximum span approx. 43 m,
- width approx. 13.5 m
- Flyover III:
- 3-field steel composite bridge, overall length approx. 110 m,
- length between expansion joints approx. 70 m, maximum span approx. 31 m,
- width approx. 13.5 m
Description of tasks
- Overbridge Moosstraße:
- Structural analysis
- Removal of bridge equipment to top edge of basic supporting structure
- Renovation of sealing and drainages
- Renovation of edge beam and splash guard/security fencing
- Renovation of road surface
- Renovation of road restraint system
- Adaption expansion joints/transition slab
- New lighting
- Temporary pedestrian/cycling bridge during construction phase
- Flyover I, II, III:
- Overhaul of corrosion protection at steel composite bridge
- Improvement of impact protection pylons: construction of 4 crash protection walls
- Adjustment of road restraint systems
- Overhaul of bearing pedestal
- Overhaul of backwall skirt
