Description of project
In September 2017 the Schunk Carbon Technology GmbH opened up its newly constructed office- and canteen building. The canteen offers seats for 220 persons, the customer centre is the working place of 420 employees. During project planning and building works it was vital not to disturb the industrial works in progress and the canteen-service in the existing building. It was necessary to guarantee the safety of all on-site personnel during the building process. Due to the required utilization flexibility it was the main task of the structural analysis to traverse large-scale rooms with precast concrete parts and semi-precast concrete components in order to ensure a short construction time.
Description of tasks
We carried out the following tasks in behalf of Kefer/Wagner architects:
- Statically constructive development of filing-, tendering- and execution planning
- Reinforcement plans for the in-situ concrete parts
- Statically details for the factory planning of the finished parts in the factories
