Description of project

The project comprises two autarkical part of structure. Among other things a vehicle hall for the fire brigade (l/w/h = approx. 12m/11m/5,5m) including a hose-tower (height = approx. 13,4m) and a 3-storey, l-shaped head-end building had to be separated of the remaining structure. The municipal house shows a distance of approx. 3m to the fire station and contains two storeys with rooms for the municipal office as well as a conference room and an archive on the upper floor.

The majority of both buildings was built as wood-frame construction with grey varnished fir wood on the facade. The vehicle hall and the hose-tower are made of exposed concrete. The large span widths of the vehicle hall were traversed with several beams made of laminated timber.

Special attention had to be put on the fact, that the desired structure should not be deranged by statically interferences. The chosen solution makes the building fit in the landscape harmoniously.
