Description of project
The vehicle hall with approx. 56 m length, 18 m depth and 6.50 m height is divided in seven parking bays (of which four can be served by a 5-tons indoor crane) and a washing box. A projecting awning of 2.60 m is situated above the entrance gates.
The base plate and the walls are made of in-situ concrete, the flat roof was built as a hollow core slab. The awning is carried out as a steel construction.
During the planning works the requirements of the torrents and avalanche protection office had to be taken into account in regard of pressures resulting of avalanches (i.e. impact load and snow pressure on the uphill walls, additional snow loads on the roof including the awning).
