Description of project

From 2015 until 2021 the Erhard Ltd Timber Production has built a sharpening room on the first floor which is used for wood processing. The effective surface for the new area on the upper floor is approximately 750 m2. The top edge of this floor is situated + 8.80 m above ground level and the level below is used as a roofed handling area. The building was constructed in a composite design: foundations and walls on the ground floor with timber; framework on the upper floor with steel; ground/walls on the upper storey and gable roof construction as timber works. Our office was commissioned with the planning, the structural dimensioning as well as the construction supervision.
