Description of project
The complete steel structure of the silo platform Nösslach (next to the A13) had to be recalculated. This was necessary as due to general repair works on the silo the original wooden support wreath was replaced by a steel wreath. It was vital to optimize the sheet thickness and the weld seams of the support wreath to reach an economical result.

- matching the silo’s loads of systemic statics with the local conditions
- detailed dimensioning of the support wreath for the wooden silo
- structural analysis of steel construction for the existing silo platform
