ASFINAG, A10, reconditioning/replacement noise protection and bridge

Description of project

In the year 2021 we were commissioned by the Asfinag Bau Management GmbH with planning the project “A10 Tauern Motorway, km 18.2 – km 29.2, reconditioning/replacement noise protection, reconditioning and reinforcement of supporting structures bridge A010.081”.

Description of project
The planning comprised the replacement of noise protection walls with an overall length of approx. 1,500 m and a hight of 2.5 m – 3.5 m as well as the coffer exchange at noise protection walls (approx. length 1,700m/hight 3.5 m 5.0 m). Alongside the noise barriers the road restraint system and the road shoulders were rebuilt. Furthermore, the bridge A010.081, in the direction of Salzburg, was refurbished extensively in the area of the breakdown lane.

Description of tasks bridge A010.081

• Planning reinforcement of supporting structure for the bridge with grout topping
• Planning reinforcement of wing walls with reinforced concrete disks and injection piles
• Planning new edge beams
• Renewal seal and road to the required extent
