Description of project
The watercourse protection facility no. III is built during the enlargement of the resting place Hainbach. This facility is situated between the A1, west-motorway, and the L1267, Auracher Straße. The reinforced concrete basin shows a trapezoidal floor plan with a length of approx. 80 m in west-east direction. The width sums up to approx. 55 m on the west side and 22 m on the east side. A maintenance path runs along the south side, parallel to the motorway and on the west side on level of the basin top. Furthermore, a maintenance area is planned on the east side about half way up the basin. The basin embeds between 3.50 m – 5.50 m underneath the existing terrain. It is divided by partition walls into upstream basin, main basin and discharge outlet. An exit ramp is situated on the south side.
